KPMG's Strategy, Tech CoE (Center of Excellence) team is looking for candidates for a Consultant / Senior Consultant role, with a technology, digital, AI and M&A specialisation.

Your contribution to KPMG
  • Support technology-focused M&A engagements across the full deal lifecycle, including IT due diligence, integration and separation projects
  • Analyse and structure complex technology landscapes, covering applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, costs and technology contracts
  • Prepare and contribute to technology (incl. product & platform) due diligence reports, identifying key risks, value drivers and opportunities relevant for valuation and deal decisions
  • Translate technology findings into clear business implications, linking tech topics to strategy, operations, synergies and deal value
  • Support clients in technology integration and separation planning, including target operating models, IT landscapes, TSA concepts and implementation roadmaps
  • Work within cross-functional deal teams, contributing to technology workstreams and identifying potential technology synergies
  • Develop a strong understanding of technology benchmarks and best practices to assess what a “fit-for-purpose” technology function looks like in a deal context
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members, gaining hands-on exposure to transactions while continuously developing your technology and M&A skill set
This is what makes you successful
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field, with an outstanding academic record
  • Minimum 0-3 years of professional experience in Technology strategy, IT in M&A, technology due diligence, or data driven advisory
  • Demonstrated project experience related to due diligence, or relevant strategy and technology topics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills with a high degree of mental flexibility to manage operational, financial, and technology topics in a fast‑paced deal environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and with senior stakeholders
  • Intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness, paired with the willingness to take (calculated) risks and comfort in “speaking truth to power”
  • Fluency in German and English is a must; French or Italian is an advantage
  • Willingness and ability to travel
