As an IT Network Administrator, you’ll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our global network infrastructure. You’ll work hands-on with enterprise-grade technologies, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple sites and critical business systems. You’ll be based in Bern and collaborate closely with seven skilled colleagues in Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland while taking ownership of core networking services and infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions
Participate in network upgrades, lifecycle management, and infrastructure projects
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers when required
Maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Support compliance, audit, and IT governance activities
Contribute to continuous improvement of network architecture and operational processes
About you – your key competencies:
5+ years of experience operating and maintaining network infrastructure components in complex IT environments.
Technically driven professional with a strong sense of ownership
Strong quality mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work
Experience in GxP-regulated environments is an advantage
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good documentation habits and structured approach to operations
Experience in incident handling and escalation procedures
Experience working in structured IT environments with ITSM processes combined with broad IT infrastructure knowledge (cross-ITI)
