Role Overview:
In this role, you will design and deliver robust integration solutions within a modern banking technology landscape. You will work on scalable platforms and real‑time data flows, ensuring seamless communication across critical systems. The position combines hands‑on engineering with platform integration, system optimisation, and close collaboration with cross‑functional IT and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable integration services on modern platform environments
- Develop and enhance event‑driven integration solutions for high‑performance systems
- Contribute to strategic integration initiatives, including real‑time and bi‑directional data streaming
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross‑system integration issues in multi‑channel environments
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and release management teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution quality
- Support testing activities, deployments, and rollout processes
You hold a higher‑education degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related discipline and bring several years of hands‑on experience in system integration within a complex banking or financial services environment. You are an analytical and solution‑oriented professional with a strong ownership mindset.
Additionally:
- Several years of practical experience in system integration within the financial industry
- Solid experience working with core banking platforms (e.g. Avaloq or similar systems)
- Knowledge of modern integration and platform technologies (e.g. container platforms, APIs, event streaming)
- Experience with tools and technologies such as OpenShift, OpenAPI, Kafka or .NET is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Hands‑on mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong team orientation and collaborative working style
- Fluent in English
- Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required
- Willingness to work 100% on‑site
