Your responsibility

• Take full ownership of claims - your expertise and decision-making will be trusted as you independently manage claims, specializing in the aviation line of business. Enjoy autonomy and the opportunity to make an impactful difference, all within a collaborative team environment.
• Ensuring the flow of information and collaboration between the Claims teams of Specialty Lines, technical insurance, and underwriting
• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including policyholders, claimants, brokers, loss adjusters, experts, lawyers, etc. Your communication skills will shine as you build strong relationships and help shape the future of aviation claims management.
• Be at the center of teamwork: ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing between claims teams across Specialty Lines, technical insurance, and underwriting. Your efforts will directly support the success and growth of our aviation specialty line.
• Play a crucial role by identifying suspicious cases and contributing to the fight against insurance fraud. Your keen eye for detail and analytical thinking will help uphold industry standards.

Your qualification

• Completed insurance-related training with a technical focus is a plus; industry expertise is highly valued. However, if you are new to the sector, your passion for aviation and eagerness to explore technical topics will be welcomed and supported.
• Strong numerical skills are essential, reflecting the “accounting” side of this position. You are comfortable with MS Office tools and have excellent proficiency in Excel, enabling you to handle data confidently.
• Self-organization comes naturally to you: you are reliable, proactive, and skilled at setting clear priorities, ensuring smooth claims processing.
• We especially value candidates who demonstrate an independent work style and possess a strong affinity for numbers-qualities that will help you thrive and make meaningful contributions within our aviation team.
• Fluency in both German and English is a must, empowering you to collaborate effectively in an international environment and succeed in this aviation-focused role.
