This position reports to:
Principal Technical Support Engineer__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that change notifications by the Agile teams of the UPS product lines consider the serviceability of the products. You will engage with the change managers of the Agile teams and the stakeholders within Service on a daily basis.
This role contributes to the Global Service Engineering team in Quartino. The main stakeholders include change managers from the Agile teams of the UPS product lines in Quartino, service professionals responsible for technical support, documentation, and spare parts, as well as supply chain specialists responsible for spare part creation and stock management.
You will join a newly formed Service Engineering team, where you will have the opportunity to thrive.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Analyzing new ECN (engineering change notices) for potential impact on Service
- Maintaining a tracker for ECN potentially affecting Service
- Run the meetings where Service stakeholders discuss ECN impact and suggest changes to the change leaders
- Track the updates to the ECN based on Service stakeholder consensus and approve acceptable ECN
- Track the execution of Service implementation of the ECN (Service News, Spare part (list) updates, information to global technical support)
- Providing technical support and solving problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category
- You will support the change managers pro-actively to improve the correctness, completeness, and effectiveness of the Service aspects of the ECN
Qualifications for the role:
- A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher academic qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, or 10 years of experience in UPS development or service roles
- Experience with the product lines manufactured in Quartino
- Experience with change management process and related documentation
- Experience in the Windchill change management system
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication (B2 level or higher) Knowledge of any other language is a welcome asset
