Technical Intern Paints & Coatings (up to 12 months)

Responsibilities

• Support the formulation and preparation of paints and coatings samples in the laboratory
• Assist in the evaluation of raw materials, fillers, and additives in different paint systems
• Carry out laboratory tests on wet paint and dried film properties according to internal methods and relevant standards
• Record, organize, and summarize test results in a clear and structured way
• Contribute to the comparison and interpretation of formulation performance data
• Help maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and workspaces in good order
• Respect and apply laboratory safety, quality, and housekeeping rules at all times
• Collaborate with the technical team on ongoing development projects and routine lab activities

Requirements

• Student in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Ideally experience in Paints & coatings formulation or interest in paints, coatings, formulation work, and laboratory testing
• Hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented working style
• Ability to analyze results carefully and document work accurately
• Good team spirit and willingness to learn in an international environment
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently once trained
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices and Microsoft Office tools is an advantage
