Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Process Analytics, as a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group, is a leading provider of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. At our main site in Urdorf, we develop and produce high-quality sensors for controlling production processes, which we distribute worldwide through our own sales organizations. For our international Market Management Team, which manages global sales, we are looking for a proactive and hands-on individual to join us in Urdorf as Market Manager (Sales) 100% (all genders) In this role, your responsibilities would include:- As a Market Manager you work closely with the Market Organizations and General Agencies in the countries assigned, who promote and sell our sophisticated process analytical measurement systems
- You successfully drive the implementation of marketing and sales strategies and develop a rolling business plan for the countries assigned
- Together with the Processs Analytics Business Manager of the Market Organization (MO), you will jointly develop and periodically review a Business Plan to help the MOs reaching their financial targets
- Coach, support and train the Field Sales Force during customer visits trigger repeat and new sales, leveraging the sales support collaterals available at all levels
- Last but not least you will provide input on product marketing, on product quality and developments
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:- You have completed basic education in a technical or natural sciences field followed by a further education in a commercial discipline (sales coordinator, sales manager, marketing planner, MBA)
- You have a proven track record in international sales of capital goods, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industries
- Affinity and enthusiasm for technology and technical products aligned with commercial abilities
- Ability to communicate across different teams with various cultural background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German; French is an advantage
- You are willing to travel internationally around 30 – 40%
