Job Description
As part of Avaloq's Strategy & Corporate Development team, you will play a leading role in shaping Avaloq's long-term strategy and driving key corporate development initiatives. You will work directly with the executive leadership team and senior business leaders to define strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities, and support major business and investment decisions.
This is a highly visible role for an experienced strategy professional who combines strategic insight, commercial judgment, and the ability to drive complex initiatives from concept to execution.
Your key tasks
- Drive the development of Avaloq's corporate strategy and corporate development agenda, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and business outcomes
- Independently lead strategic analyses, business cases, and executive recommendations on growth, transformation, and performance improvement topics
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders across sales, delivery, service operations, technology, finance, and other corporate functions
- Drive executive-level discussions, prepare Board and Executive Leadership materials, and support strategic decision-making processes

Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, private equity, or a comparable strategic role
- Deep understanding of banking, fintech, B2B software, or technology-enabled business models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modelling, business case development, and strategic decision support
- Proven ability to structure complex topics into clear recommendations and drive decision-making with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage executives across functions and geographies
- High ownership, resilience, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German or Italian is a plus
