THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for ticket inventory management, seating map configuration, and ticketing operations.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimization of ticket inventories, quotas, category structures, seating maps, and ticket flow configurations within the ticketing system.
- Manage seat allocation and seat assignment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Plan and deliver onsite ticketing operations at FIFA events, including ticketing infrastructure and electronic access control solutions.
- Lead and coordinate onsite ticketing teams, including managers, supervisors, volunteers, and external service providers.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and FIFA ticketing teams in host countries to ensure consistent and efficient delivery.
- Conduct venue inspections, stadium readiness assessments, and seat validation activities to maintain inventory accuracy and operational excellence.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality, and maximize revenue potential.
- Support the planning and successful delivery of ticketing operations across FIFA tournaments and events worldwide.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ticketing operations, including onsite delivery at major international sporting events or other large-scale events.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop diverse, high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in ticket inventory and quota management, seating map configuration, and ticket flow management.
- Experience managing event staff, contractors, volunteers, and external providers in a live event environment.
- Strong operational mindset with excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities and complex operational challenges.
- Proactive, self-driven, flexible, and accountable, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working in international and multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English; additional French and/or Spanish language skills are a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness to travel extensively
