Product Engineer

Product development

• Be part of the engineering team which is developing goggles, helmets and other accessories across all divisions (wintersport, motorsport and bike)
• Work directly with the Product Managers, Designers and factories
• Setup, coordinate and follow planning /milestones meetings for the projects
• Research and definition of technical solutions in accordance with the production processes and the target of the products
• 3D modeling of concepts, solutions
• Validation of all technical aspects of the products with the rest of the engineering team, Product Managers and suppliers
• Coordinate and follow the final 3D modeling phase with the 3D modeler
• Coordinate and follow the industrialization and the production of the products with the suppliers
  

Technology and processes

• Qualitative and quantitative optimization of the production processes in our factories
• Develop and implement the construction of our products, assembling technologies and production methods in our factories
• Assessment and coaching of existing suppliers

Technologies, materials

• Advise Product Manager regarding materials, applications and new technologies
• Research of new materials and process for the different product ranges

Requirements : 

• Mechanical master thesis
• 3+ years of experience in product development, in plastic parts an asset
• Composite knowledge, and injected parts is a plus
• Strong CAD capabilities
• Willingness to travel
• Project management skills
• Good communication / interaction skills
• Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus
• Sport enthusiast is a plus
