Specialist MES Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and maintain MES solutions (e.g., PAS-X), including electronic batch records (EBRs) and manufacturing recipes in accordance with established standards
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting MES-related issues and ensuring smooth execution of production processes
• Execute testing, validation, and documentation activities for system changes, releases, and compliance requirements within a regulated environment
• Support change control, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance MES workflows, system performance, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, technology transfers, user training, and the ongoing maintenance of validated automation systems

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field, with relevant industry experience
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally including PAS-X configuration, recipe development, testing, and production support
• Knowledge of GMP, CSV/SDLC, and change control processes, including familiarity with industry standards such as GAMP 5
• Understanding of manufacturing system integrations, including MES-to-automation platforms (e.g., DeltaV) and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP)
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated manufacturing environment
