Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will lead complex client implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver Avaloq's BPaaS and SaaS solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your key tasks
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of change-the-bank projects for Avaloq's major global banking clients. This includes working with the relevant Avaloq units (Solution Architects/Consultants, Infrastructure, Support Services, Regional Banking Operations, customer representatives, etc.) and partner resources, where applicable, to define project objectives and execute the agreed project plan.
- Prepare project budgets and commercial offers in close cooperation with Avaloq Solution Architects/Consultants and Key Account Managers for submission to and negotiation with prospective and existing customers.
- Achieve the defined project objectives, including scope, quality, timelines, budget, reporting, project staffing (internal Avaloq and external partners), and post-project reviews.
- Consult and coach customer project managers and teams to leverage best practices and business processes reflected in Avaloq's Banking Reference.
- Lead projects concurrently while supporting pre-sales activities and proposals for prospective clients.
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as the overall project leader for large-scale projects, preferably involving the implementation of standard software solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Project Management certification from a recognized accrediting body
- Knowledge of the banking industry and bank-related processes
- Strong negotiation skills with proven experience engaging stakeholders up to Steering Committee level
- Leadership experience in managing interdisciplinary and multicultural teams
- Persistent, assertive, and resilient, with the ability to maintain an overview and set priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

- Experience in international change-the-bank platform projects
- PMP certification
