English-speaking teen (16) — French & maths, gymnase entrance evaluation on 14 September.

Hello, My son Daniel, 16, has just arrived from England (Cambridge), where he completed his GCSEs. He was educated entirely in English and has never studied in French. He sits a gymnase entrance evaluation on 14 September: French, English and maths, around three hours. English is not a concern. We are looking for support on two things: — French, the main priority: reading comprehension and written expression at École de maturité admission level; — mathematical vocabulary in French: he knows the content, but not the terms or the exam instructions. The teacher needs to speak English, so grammar can be explained to Daniel in his own language. We would like 2–3 sessions per week until 14 September, at home in Prilly or online. His goal is the École de maturité, then EPFL in mechanical engineering. Thank you, Gary
