Job-Inhalt
Your main tasks
- Manage assigned products and components across the supply chain, from forecasting and procurement planning to material availability and market supply
- Act as the day-to-day supply chain interface with CMOs, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring reliable planning, delivery coordination and issue resolution
- Prepare and align supplier forecasts based on demand, inventory requirements, supplier capacity and lead times, while monitoring open orders, delivery schedules, stock coverage and supply risks
- Identify potential supply shortages or delays at an early stage, initiate appropriate operational countermeasures, and follow up on actions with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in regular planning, supply, transfer and coordination meetings with internal teams, affiliates, CMOs, suppliers and external partners
- Coordinate supply chain activities related to product changes, launches, transfers, phase-ins, phase-outs and other lifecycle topics
- Maintain and improve SAP master data, planning parameters, forecasts and supply chain-relevant databases for allocated materials
- Track defined supply chain KPIs, analyze deviations, prepare regular reporting and initiate or coordinate improvements where required
- Ensure that supply chain activities are performed in line with applicable GMP requirements, SOPs, work instructions, inspection plans and relevant process documentation
- Contribute to practical improvements in planning, purchasing, master data and supply chain processes within the assigned area
Your profile
- Several years of hands-on experience in supply chain operations, procurement planning, operational purchasing, material planning, supplier forecasting or a comparable role
- Good practical understanding of procurement, material planning, inventory management, order management and supplier coordination
- Experience working with CMOs, suppliers and external procurement partners across planning, purchasing and supply execution activities
- Experience in a regulated medical technology, pharmaceutical or comparable environment is beneficial; familiarity with GMP-related requirements is an advantage
- Practical experience with SAP, particularly SD and MM, as well as confidence working with forecasts, inventory data, planning parameters, master data and KPIs
- Ability to identify potential supply issues, assess priorities and coordinate appropriate actions with the relevant stakeholders
- Structured, pragmatic and well-organized working style, with the ability to manage multiple topics, deadlines and follow-up activities in parallel
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive and reliable working style, focused on execution, timely completion and follow-through until issues are resolved
- Clear communication style, cross-functional mindset and confidence working with internal teams, international suppliers, affiliates, CMOs and external partners
- Fluent in English; German is considered a plus
