As a member of the GPS IT Architecture Center of Excellence, you will act as the System Architect for one of the GPS owned platforms to shape the future functional infrastructure in the GPS division. You will work closely with the Product Managers, Product Owners, IT Application responsible and Agile teams to drive the delivery of the roadmap for the journey ahead of us, to enable further digital services and offerings to our clients.This senior architect role enables you to closely collaborate with Business owners and various stakeholders to unlock the GPS potential and elaborate and present innovative and efficient solutions up to C-Level. The role calls for a foundation of strong business acumen and knowledge of a global Markets environment, experience with Derivative product issuing, trading and hedging process supported by profound functional and technical architecture expertise.YOUR CHALLENGE
Drive definition of GPS target and transition architecture for various initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture vision and objectives and close collaboration with business stakeholders
Own solution blueprint definition and transition roadmaps with concrete input for Markets OVS to achieve the target application landscape
Support the definition and execution of the GPS Architecture governance and ensure your ART is compliant with enterprise architecture standards, policies and guidelines
You understand the trends and drivers in the financial industry, markets & technology and propose innovative and sound solutions with your business partners
You empower Agile squads to deliver fit for purpose solutions and support them with any architecture relevant topics
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in information technology (Master's degree preferred)
Proven multi-year experience as a System Architect within financial industry or consulting with banking focus
Good understanding of Markets environment, preferably with past responsibility for trading, execution or derivatives issuing architecture and design in previous projects
Experience with various integration technologies (e.g., streaming, messaging, web services)
Hands-on experience as web software developer (e.g., Java, .Net, Java Script, React, Angular, relational databases, No SQL databases) is a strong advantage
Knowledge and curiosity in current technologies, technology trends, and financial market developments
Certification in business architecture (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK) is highly desirable
Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools
Passionate about technology with a “can do” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit in getting things done in a fast-paced environment of continuous change
Person with strong personal drive to improve status quo, to share knowledge, make team better and open to learn and collaborate with peers and stakeholders
Good organisational skills, analytical, quantitative and problem-solving mind-set
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to technical and business stakeholders on the company, domain, and team level
