Freelance | (Senior) UX/UI Designer (m/w/d)

Hello everyone,

I’m currently looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer with strong experience in complex web applications for one of my clients.

Core Responsibilities

• User-Centered Design & Information Architecture: Design intuitive user experiences and seamless workflows by gaining a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, data structures, and user insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Client Business Analysts (CBAs), Customer Delivery Leads (CDLs), and other stakeholders to translate business and user requirements into effective design solutions. Lead collaborative low-fidelity ideation sessions, including whiteboarding and sketching, to build alignment from the outset.
• UX Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Analyze and solve complex usability challenges within data-intensive applications, such as advanced forms and large-scale data tables. Continuously refine and enhance the agile design process to support fast, iterative product development.
• Design System Management: Own, maintain, and expand the design system while ensuring full alignment with the product's visual identity. Create scalable and reusable Figma components by leveraging advanced Auto Layout, component properties, and variants.
• Engineering Partnership: Work closely with development teams throughout the product lifecycle, proactively addressing implementation constraints, preparing high-quality prototypes for handoff, and ensuring pixel-perfect execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience designing complex web applications, enterprise platforms, or data-driven dashboard solutions.
• A strong preference for a low-fidelity-first design approach, emphasizing rapid validation, user journey mapping, and early-stage sketching before progressing to high-fidelity interfaces.
• Advanced expertise in Figma, including Auto Layout, reusable component systems, variants, structured file organization, and developer-ready design documentation.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale while balancing user experience, business priorities, and technical constraints.
• A resilient, adaptable mindset with an entrepreneurial attitude, taking initiative to improve design workflows, processes, and documentation in dynamic environments.
