About the Project

As part of a fixed-term project at an innovative medical technology company, an experienced accountant contractor is needed to provide operational support in finance and accounting. The project involves the complete handling of financial closing processes as well as the optimization of existing reporting structures.

The role is set in a demanding environment that must comply with both local Swiss standards and international corporate guidelines. We are seeking a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of IFRS to handle all core accounting processes with the highest level of professionalism.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in compliance with all regulatory deadlines
• Maintaining and systematically monitoring the general ledger and chart of accounts, including segregation of duties
• Reviewing and approving accounting documents, account reconciliations, and period-end closings
• Preparing monthly management reports for internal control and group-wide reporting
• Actively supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in close coordination with the FI Controller
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, or a comparable business qualification
• In-depth expertise in IFRS, group-wide accounting manuals, and local Swiss regulations (OR)
• Several years of practical experience with end-to-end financial closing processes and intra-group consolidation
• Proficiency with MS Office applications; knowledge of Abacus ERP and Power BI is a plus
• Solid command of German or English for international corporate communication
• A structured, independent work style with strong analytical skills and a high degree of precision
