Aufgaben
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the development, testing, and operation of NIM, including:- Planning and conducting calibrations and tests of the instrument under various operational conditionsLeading the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and system issuesCharacterizing and optimizing critical components and subsystemsParticipating in the development and validation of operation and software tools
- Helping investigate in-flight issues and support related analysis
- Maintaining and improving technical documentation, including design and operations manuals
- Managing inventory and procurement activities for hardware
- A higher education degree (ETH, Uni, FH) in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and electronic diagnostics
- Proficiency in coding in Python and/or C++ or similar
- A motivated, hands-on, and collaborative approach to problem-solving (team player)
- Proficient written English skills required; basic knowledge of German is desirable.
