Job-Inhalt
Your mission
· Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of technical components, materials, and services for UAV and aviation systems while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.
· Source and purchase technical components, assemblies, materials, and external services.
· Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations to achieve the best commercial and technical outcomes.
· Select, develop, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
· Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times to ensure material availability.
· Support make-or-buy decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to identify sourcing solutions, support technical purchasing activities, and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
· Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and material data within the ERP system.
· Contribute to cost optimization initiatives and supply chain risk mitigation.
· Assist with supplier evaluations, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
· Support engineering change management, including material phase-in and phase-out processes.
· Contribute to inventory management and stock optimization to improve operational efficiency.
Your profile
· Technical or commercial education, preferably with a technical background. Experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
· Previous experience in the UAV, aerospace, aviation, electronics, or other high-tech industries is an advantage.
· Proficiency with ERP systems.
· Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
· Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
· Familiarity with quality requirements and documentation practices in regulated industries.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering specifications.
· Proven ability to ensure material availability in line with production and development schedules.
· Experience managing supplier performance with respect to quality, cost, and delivery.
· Commitment to driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.
· Ability to maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
· Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and coordination skills.
· High level of reliability and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in English and German, additional languages are a plus.
· Eligibility: Swiss or EU citizens only.
· Location: On-site in Näfels | Bilten, Switzerland.
