Your contribution
As Junior HR BP/HR Project Specialist you will support the Head Strategic People Partnering and HR HQ in delivering key HR projects and strategic business partnering deliverables. This 16-month fixed-term assignment combines project work with generalist HR responsibilities – ideal for someone who works in a structured way, takes ownership, and thinks about HR holistically. It offers deep insight into strategic HR work in a globally active life sciences company.
Your Responsibilities
HR Projects & Strategic Business Partnering Support (approx. 70%)
- Contribute to global and local HR projects and initiatives (e.g., organizational design, HR process improvements, change support)
- Prepare HR deliverables linked to strategic business partnering, such as business reviews, townhall materials, divisional HR presentations, decision papers, and communication documents
- Project planning and tracking: milestones, action logs, risks, status reports
- Prepare and follow up on workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings
- Compile HR KPIs and people analytics (e.g., fill grades, attrition, pulse survey results)
HR Generalist (approx. 30%)
- Advise and support line managers on operational HR matters across the employee lifecycle, in coordination with the responsible HR Business Partners
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes
- Draft contracts, agreements, and HR documents
- Act as interface to HR Services, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Centers of Expertise

Your background

- Completed education with further qualification in HR (e.g., Swiss federal diploma in HR, CAS/Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration)
- 3–5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, ideally in an international, matrix-organized environment
- Experience contributing to or leading HR projects
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; confident working with HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday)
- Strong interest to push AI for HR usage
- Good knowledge of Swiss employment law; interest in international HR topics
- Excellent written and spoken English and German
- Structured, independent, and service-oriented way of working with a high level of discretion
- Available at short notice or within a reasonable timeframe for a 16-month assignment
