The Communication Specialist is responsible for driving and delivering high-impact internal and external communications in direct support of the Region Heads, Western Markets & Switzerland. In close collaboration with senior leadership and the Regional Chief of Staff, this role plans, develops, and executes strategic communication initiatives of the Region Heads that advance regional priorities, strengthen leadership visibility, and foster informed, engaged stakeholders across markets.Operating at the centre of regional decision-making, the specialist ensures consistency, quality, and timing of all executive-level messaging — acting as a key enabler of reputational strength and organisational alignment.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Lead the development and delivery of executive communications for the Region Heads, including speeches, talking points, board updates, internal announcements, media contributions, and event briefings

  • Act as primary writer and editor for all formal communications published/presented under the Region Heads’ names, ensuring strategic coherence, tonal appropriateness, and brand compliance

  • Manage end-to-end production, from concept and drafting to editorial approval, translation coordination, and multi-channel distribution

  • Design and execute integrated communication plans to support major business milestones, change initiatives, and leadership engagements

  • Develop engaging formats — including slide decks, infographics, video scripts, podcasts, and digital features — to enhance reach and retention among employees and clients

  • Engage proactively with Market Leaders and regional stakeholders to align messaging, capture local insights, and amplify key themes across Western Markets & Switzerland

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or journalism, preferably within wealth management or financial services

  • Demonstrable record of successfully managing executive communications in complex organisations

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Native or fluent proficiency in English (written and spoken) — mandatory

  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus (but not mandatory), reflecting regional engagement priorities

  • Outstanding writing, editing, and narrative-building skills — with ability to distil complex topics into clear, compelling messages

  • Direct experience working alongside senior executives and operating confidently in high-expectation environments

  • Expertise in crafting content for diverse channels: print, digital, presentation, and broadcast

  • Highly organised with strong project management abilities; adept at balancing competing demands without compromising quality

  • Discreet and ethical in handling confidential and sensitive information

Behaviours & Personal Impact:

  • Professional Excellence: Delivers polished, error-free work under pressure and short timelines

  • Leadership Partnership: Builds trusted relationships through reliability, insight, and proactive support

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicates with clarity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity across levels and geographies

  • Initiative & Ownership: Anticipates needs, acts autonomously, and drives outcomes without oversight
