Product Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing, executing and documenting automated verification and product tests (improve test efficiency, scalability) to ensure compliance with product requirements, quality standards and customer expectations

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics) 
• Solid experience in requirements-based product testing, verification, validation, or quality engineering / Experience with modern SW development and verification processes and supporting tools
• Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and executing automated HIL test sequences using Python / Robot Framework OR Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and executing automated HIL test sequences and test frameworks using LabVIEW
• Experience executing automated verification campaigns and analyzing test results
• Experience in performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting HW and SW related product issues and performing structured data analysis
• Experience maintaining and improving automated test frameworks and test environments
• Experience in working in cross-functional teams together with Product Engineering, SW Development, HW Development and Verification
• Solid experience in LabVIEW, Jira, Confluence OR Python, Robot Framework and Git
• Knowledge of REST and embedded communication protocols (e.g. I2C, Modbus, BACnet)
• ISTQB Foundation Level an advantage
• Very good english language skills, german language skills are an advantage
