Regulatory Reporting Specialist (80-100%)
Within the Technology & Operations unit, Operations renders regulatory reporting duties for the Lombard Odier Group
The successful candidate will work within the Regulatory Reporting team with 6 colleagues and be responsible for the production, controls and follow-up on all regulatory reporting such as QI, FATCA, CRS, as well as MiFID II, LIMF, and other reporting. In addition, the successful candidate will assist the technology teams to enhance the tools and take part in testing new features.
This individual will mainly collaborate with team members to deliver a high-quality regulatory reporting in a timely manner, but also with other Tax Operations teams as well as other departments (Technology, Front Office, senior management, Legal and Compliance stakeholders, Corporate Actions, Settlement). The goal is to to identify, anticipate and follow up on any issue or change that might have an impact on our regulatory reporting duties.
The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, autonomous with a strong analytical mindset, and able to identify risks and recommend mitigation actions, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Regulatory Reporting is a complex and challenging area that is in constant evolution. The team offers interesting challenges in a cooperative and autonomous work environment with flexible working time. You will be surrounded by operational specialists of various backgrounds.
YOUR ROLE
- Manage the production of regulatory reporting for Lombard Odier Group and some BPO clients.
- Create new and enhance business process controls for existing and upcoming activities.
- Follow up business requirements and participate in the testing of the dedicated technology tools.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Provide support for data analysis and reconciliation on large sets of complex data.
- Draft and maintain operational procedures, KRIs and KPIs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent; “CFC”/”Maturité professionnel bancaire” considered.
- Previous QI, FATCA/CRS experience required
- Good overall knowledge and understanding of transactional banking flows considered a strong advantage.
- FiTAX knowledge a strong advantage.
- Skilled in MS Office especially MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with good attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and/or French (written and spoken). Other languages considered an asset.
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
