Reporting to the Head of Procurement Technology & AI, this role is responsible for translating the requirements of the project lead and stakeholders into end-to-end procurement processes. It involves designing how the function operates from demand through to payment and modelling these processes in BPMN 2.0.Contribute to the ramp-up of a global Source-to-Pay transformation, maintainingalignment with regulatory and risk frameworks and working closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, TPRM, Outsourcing, Legal, and IT.This is a hands-on design role covering the full spectrum of end-to-end processes,including their interaction with policy and governance gates in both directions. It also includes semantic-to-system mapping, tracing value chains through to business capabilities and into process design.The resulting process models serve as the blueprint against which the new SAPplatform is configured. In addition, the role translates these designs into procedures, SLAs, and supporting documentation to enable effective operational execution.YOUR CHALLENGE
Translate project lead and stakeholder requirements into clear, end-to-end procurement process designs in line with the company’s design principles
Design and model Source-to-Pay processes, from demand through to payment, using BPMN 2.0
Develop semantic-to-system mappings, tracing value chains through to business capabilities and into process design
Define how each process interacts with policy and governance gates in both directions — how processes drive controls and how controls constrain processes
Translate process designs into operational procedures, SLAs, and supporting documentation
Ensure consistency of process models across regions, maintaining a single, coherent global standard
Act as the reference point for end-to-end process design for both platform configuration teams and senior stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
Proven, hands-on experience as a BPMN 2.0 process designer, with process modelling forming the core of the role
Highly adaptive to internal design principles and guidelines
Demonstrable application expertise in ARIS, object knowledge
Strong ability to translate stakeholder and project requirements into clear, actionable process designs
Experience mapping semantic structures to systems, including value chains, business capabilities, and process design
Clear understanding of how process design interacts with policy and governance frameworks in both directions
Solid Source-to-Pay process knowledge, with a credible understanding of the demand-to-payment lifecycle
Experience translating processes into procedures, SLAs, and operational documentation
Working knowledge of SAP (Ariba and/or S/4HANA), sufficient to design processes aligned with platform capabilities
Experience in process design within financial services or similarly regulated environments
Driven and proactive, taking ownership and advancing designs without waiting for direction
Hands-on and comfortable operating within a fast-paced transformation programme
Curious and quick to learn, with a strong ability to translate business needs into clear designs
Collaborative and personable, with a stakeholder-focused approach and a desire to deliver impact
Relevant process or modelling certifications (e.g. OMG BPMN, Software AG ARIS, or recognised process management qualifications) are advantageous
Fluent in English, German would be preferred
