At our competence center “Power Converter Solutions”, we have a leading position in the development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-power electronic converters mainly for STATCOM and rail power supply systems. We also provide solutions for hydro pump stations and grid interties. With the help of our highly efficient converters, we contribute to the integration of renewable energies into the electrical grid of tomorrow and at the same time increase the overall system efficiency.

In this role, you will take ownership of driving and implementing the service sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring strong commercial outcomes across the full contract lifecycle. You will play a key role in developing competitive proposals, structuring contracts, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements, internal policies, and technical standards.

Working at the intersection of sales, legal, finance, and engineering, you will contribute to sustainable business growth while optimizing both financial and operational performance.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Drive and execute the service sales strategy while monitoring performance, identifying market trends to develop new business opportunities, and leading contract and proposal development aligned with customer requirements, budgets, and timelines

  • Negotiate and define contract baselines, ensuring compliance while maximizing financial and operational performance

  • Manage contract execution, including documenting and controlling changes and amendments

  • Monitor contract performance, identifying deviations and driving corrective actions where needed

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of all commercial aspects in close collaboration with technical, financial, and legal stakeholders

  • Support business development by providing expert advice on commercial and contractual topics, leveraging strong legal knowledge

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification (FH/HF/TS), preferably in electrical engineering, with knowledge of power electronics and/or control technology

  • Initial professional experience (2–3 years) in projects, tenders, contract management or a technical role with exposure to project or customer-facing work, with the ability to manage tasks independently

  • Strong commercial mindset and interest in contract negotiation, with first exposure to or willingness to develop skills in contract, change, and claim management

  • Basic understanding of legal terminology and contractual frameworks, or motivation to build up this knowledge in a commercial role

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders in a complex environment

  • Hands-on, customer-focused mindset with a strong drive to deliver results

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP SD/CS preferred) and fluent in German and English
