This is a senior finance leadership role with broad end-to-end responsibility across Global Supply Chain. You will act as a key strategic partner to the CSCO and Supply Chain Leadership Team, with accountability for financial steering, cost transparency, governance, and performance across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
You will lead the global supply chain finance organization across central and site-based teams, while ensuring strong accounting, controls, and reporting for supply chain-related activities. You will also play a critical role in investment decisions, operational improvement, and the long-term financial development of Swarovski’s manufacturing network.
About the Job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as the senior finance business partner to the Supply Chain Leadership Team, shaping financial decisions that improve profitability, efficiency, and long-term supply chain performance
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global Supply Chain Finance organization, including central controllers and controlling and accounting teams across key manufacturing sites
Own the financial steering of the global supply chain, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, inventory, distribution costs, and working capital performance
Oversee and challenge financial and operational performance across multiple internal and external manufacturing sites, ensuring transparency, consistency of performance measurement, and alignment with global supply chain priorities
Define ambitious financial targets and lead budgeting, forecasting, performance management, variance analysis and CAPEX management across the global supply chain organization
Ensure accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting, robust cost transparency, and actionable insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
Drive governance and financial compliance across supply chain processes in line with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements
Oversee supply chain-related accounting topics including inventory valuation, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, R&D, GBS, and Group Finance to identify value creation opportunities and improve performance
Drive inventory optimization and obsolescence reduction through stronger financial steering and cross-functional decision support
Standardize and enhance finance processes, controls, KPIs, reporting, and automation to improve transparency, efficiency, and business impact
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and translate complex financial and operational topics into clear recommendations, trade-offs, and decisions
About You
We are looking for a senior finance leader with strong business judgment, operational credibility, and the ability to influence in a complex international matrix. What we are looking for:
10+ years of experience in finance and controlling roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions, ideally in an international manufacturing, operations finance, or supply chain finance environment
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus
Strong expertise in supply chain finance, manufacturing controlling, cost accounting, inventory valuation, COGS, working capital, financial planning, reporting, and performance management
Strong track record of partnering with senior business leaders and influencing decisions at executive level
Sound understanding of financial governance, internal controls, compliance, audit requirements, and accounting standards relevant to supply chain processes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear business actions
High level of ownership, resilience, and drive, with a continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge constructively
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to bring concise, decision-oriented messages to senior leadership
Fluent oral and written communication skills in English; strong SAP, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities are highly valued
