The HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Department plays a key role in promoting and maintaining high standards in occupational health, workplace safety and environmental protection across the organization. Within the environmental field, the department carries out a wide range of activities, including the introduction and assessment of new chemicals, data management in the GeSi system, the management of hazardous substances and dangerous goods, and the development and implementation of warehouse and storage concepts in cooperation with external partners. The team also develops and delivers training programs to support compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.As an intern, you will support the team in these environmental activities, contribute to ongoing projects, and gain valuable insight into environmental management within an international industrial environment.
What You'll do
'- Manage the introduction of new chemicals through the defined approval process, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.- Maintain the hazardous substances database (GeSi3) for the Schaan site, including chemical safety instructions, labels, and related documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of safety concepts at headquarters, such as chemical storage concepts and firewater retention measures.
- Evaluate hazards and exposure risks related to hazardous substances and define appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Deliver training sessions and awareness initiatives on the safe handling, storage, and use of hazardous substances and chemicals.
What You’ll Bring
'- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.- A proactive, self-driven working style with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Availability for a minimum commitment of 5 months, either as a full-time intern or on a part-time basis alongside your studies.
- Strong communication skills in both German and English.
- Willingness to work on-site in Schaan, as this position is not suitable for remote work.
