Trainee Global Product Management

We are looking for you as our Trainee Global Product Management. In this position, you will drive global product manager efficiency by taking ownership and orchestrating life cycle tasks and cross functional projects. You will develop expertise in Product Management tasks and processes and collaborate across different departments at Straumann. You will be part of the Product Management team in the Implantology Business Unit, based at the HQ in Basel.

The position is temporary for one year.

Your responsibilities:

• Anlayses product portfolio rentability and manages product phase-out decision making and  implementation
• Orchestrate portfolio geo expansion including e-shop launch management in close collaboration with the e-shop team and product managers
• Supports the Medical Device Regulation related product documentation updates
• Manages product data harmonization in SAP and tracks IFU and product label changes
• Leads Product Management tasks in cross functional projects in close collaboration with the responsible Product Managers and the departments involved
• Takes ownership for effective and transparent communication between stakeholders, feeding different channels, and continuously searching for tools and ways to improve it.

Your Profile - Qualifications

Education

• Degree in life sciences, business administration or equivalent, experience in marketing topics as well as project management is an advantage

Experience 

• Affinity for data and analytics
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• At least 6 months of working experience, preferably in an international matrix organization
• Open minded and proactive personality with the ability to cultivate a network of effective working relationships in an international matrix environment as well as to motivate and engage stakeholders
• Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
