Key Responsibilities

• Design and dimension piping systems (water, steam, cleaning agents, compressed air) for washing/sterilizing machines.
• Develop 3D models and layouts in SolidWorks, including routing of pipes, fittings, valves, and connectors.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, hygienic design standards, and pressure equipment guidelines.
• Support the assembly and integration of piping in prototype machines.
• Collaborate closely with process engineers, automation specialists, and assembly teams to ensure functionality and manufacturability.
• Document piping designs in SAP, maintaining up-to-date BOMs and technical drawings.
• Participate in prototype testing, troubleshooting, and design optimization.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience (piping design, prototype or machine development).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GMP, hygienic design, and pressure equipment regulations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach.
• Fluency in German (mandatory) and good command of English.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup with regular onsite presence.
