Job Description
- Act as the key Finance Business Partner to the Managing Director, providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Lead the finance function and ensure the smooth execution of all finance-related activities during the maternity leave coverage period.
- Own and coordinate the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to local and international stakeholders.
- Monitor costs and profitability, ensuring alignment with budget and company objectives.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other business functions to support commercial initiatives and drive growth.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, reporting processes, and internal controls.
- Manage communication with regional and international finance teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop one direct report while fostering a high-performance finance environment.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally within an international environment.
- Proven experience in business partnering and supporting senior stakeholders with financial decision-making.
- Good knowledge of the FMCG sector, ideally gained in a commercial finance, controlling, or business partnering environment.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
- Experience managing complex financial planning cycles and driving process improvements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Previous leadership experience and a track record of coaching and developing team members.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of operating successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to start in September 2026 for a fixed-term maternity cover assignment.
