For our clients (international corporations, Swiss SMEs and fast‑growing organisations) we are proactively looking for experienced Senior Financial Accountants and Accounting Managers who are open to discussing future interim opportunities.

Job Description

Depending on the organisation and role level, responsibilities may include:

• Ownership of month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing
• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements (Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS)
• Coordination with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
• Oversight of general ledger, balance sheet and P&L
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and internal controls
• Participation in process optimisation, automation or ERP (SAP) initiatives
• Coaching and mentoring of junior accountants (for manager-level roles)

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally in Switzerland
• Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP FI / S/4HANA highly advantageous)
• Fluent German AND English preferred
• Structured, reliable and proactive working style
• Experience in audit, industry or shared service environments is welcome
