Senior or Assistant Manager – Accounting Advisory Services

To support the growth of our Accounting Advisory Services team, we are looking for motivated individuals with deep understanding of business processes, accounting and financial reporting maters together with strong communication skills. As a team member, you support our clients with challenges associated with the preparation of financial statements in connection with capital market transactions or business process improvements

Your contribution to KPMGIn our Accounting Advisory Service team, you will have the opportunity to work on the following activities:

• Advising our clients on the introduction and application of various accounting standards under IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, US GAAP and Swiss Code of Obligations
• IPO readiness assessments for clients exploring capital markets transactions, including mergers with Special Purpose Acquisition Companies
• Assist in the preparation or analysis of financial statements, including carve outs, required for capital market transactions, initial public offerings and debt offerings for both domestic and cross-border transactions
• Provide financial reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising and financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition, assessment of financial metrics used by management to run businesses
• Actively support CFOs, finance managers or group controllers with improving business and financial reporting processes
• You will receive training in your areas of focus in order to maintain and develop your knowledge
• You will pass on your specialist knowledge to others during internal and external training courses
• You will maintain existing client relationships and actively support the team in acquiring new clients and accounting advisory services mandates

This is what makes you successful

• Dedicated and entrepreneurial personality with a high degree of customer and team orientation
• 3 – 5 years of experience in the BIG 4 environment or have financial reporting or business process understanding from a corporation
• Knowledge of IFRS and / or Swiss GAAP FER and / or Swiss Code of Obligations
• Degree as a certified public accountant or local/international equivalent (e.g. ACCA)
• Ability to deliver high-quality services under tight deadlines
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in French & English
