Main Responsibilities

Media Relations
- Support the Head of Media in implementing the Bank’s media strategy across Europe and the Middle East, with a particular focus on French-speaking Switzerland and key satellite markets.
- Coordinate with media agencies across EMEA to align priorities, timelines and deliverables
- Collaborate with Investment Services, regional teams and other subject-matter experts to source spokespeople and content, and coordinate the full approval process.
- Ensure timely, accurate and on-brand responses to journalists and media partners.
- Proactively coordinate interviews, briefings and market commentary with the relevant internal experts.
- Prepare and update key media materials (Q&As, talking points, short bios, background notes) as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists in core financial and business media.

Content Management & Copywriting
- Contribute to the production of high-quality content that supports the Bank’s positioning in investment strategy and asset management.
- Draft and edit press releases, statements, Q&As and opinion pieces in close collaboration with experts.
- Translate complex investment and market topics into clear, concise and compliant messages.
- Review and challenge the quality of content before it is offered to the media.
- Ensure consistency of tone of voice and alignment with the Bank’s brand and communication guidelines.
- Work in close partnership with the Digital team to amplify media coverage and align content.
- Coordinate with Internal Communications to share key media exposure internally.

Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor media coverage of the Bank, its experts and its key themes across EMEA.
- Use media monitoring and analytics tools to track visibility and sentiment.
- Prepare regular reports on media KPIs for the Head of Media and relevant stakeholders

Your Profile

Experience and Skills Required
- At least 5 years’ experience in media relations within financial services (banking, asset or wealth management) or in an agency with financial clients.
- Proven track record of working with financial and business media in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and media ecosystem.
- Excellent writing and editing skills; strong copywriting abilities under time pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines across regions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience handling sensitive topics in a regulated context.
- Relationship builder, credible with journalists and confident with senior internal experts.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a hands-on, operational approach.

- Experience with media monitoring and analytics platforms.
- Comfortable with basic data analysis and reporting for KPIs.

Languages
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- French speaker mandatory; other European languages are an advantage.
