Job-Inhalt
Mission
- Design, maintain and optimize scheduling batch workflows for production and test environment (production, uat, …) for a leading banking environment
- Ensure high availability, performance, compliance, and security of end‑to‑end processing chains supporting payments, treasury, accounting, risk, and regulatory reporting.
- Deal with different projects at the same time liaising with different technical stakeholders
- Industrialize a multi-application billing chain with prerequisites, windows, and alerting.
- Migrate job estate to Control-M Automation API + GitOps workflow.
- Maintain and update Documentation
Key Responsibilities

Design & Industrialization
- Analyze business/IT needs and model workflows in Control-M (Jobs, Folders, Calendars, Conditions, Resources, Variables).
- Apply scheduling standards (naming, reuse, conventions).
- Automate job deployments via Control-M Application Integrator, CTM/CLI, and Automation API.

Operations & Monitoring
- Perform daily follow-up of batches, critical jobs, SLAs, and processing windows.
- Handle production incidents (diagnosis, restart/recovery, escalation, RCA).
- Optimize runtimes, parallelism, windows, and capacity.

Integration & DevOps
- Integrate Control-M with CI/CD (Automation API, CTM/CLI, Jenkins/GitLab CI, artifact repos).
- Package and version Control-M objects (JSON, Git).
- Document pipelines, recovery procedures, and runbooks.

Security & Compliance
- Comply, operate and leverage the Bank’s security framework and conforming to the published security applications RACI matrix provided to all stakeholders.
- Manage access and roles (Control-M/EM, LDAP/AD).
- Apply security policies (encryption, audit, traceability).
- Contribute to audits, risk management, and continuity planning (DR/BCP).
Technical Environnent
- BMC Control-M: V9.21/9.22 Control-M/EM, Server, Agents, Workload Archiving, Automation API, CTM/CLI, Application Integrator, MFT/MFT-E
- Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server; z/OS knowledge a plus.
- Scripting & Languages: Shell/Bash, PowerShell, Python, SQL.
- Databases: PostgreSQL (queries, DB job scheduling).
- Middleware & Cloud: FTP/SFTP, REST/Web Services, MQ; AWS/Azure/GCP integration (Control-M for Cloud, Agents).
- CI/CD & SCM: Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, JSON artifacts, automated testing/deployments.
- Monitoring: Integration with tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Splunk, Centreon.
- Security: LDAP/AD, credential management (e.g., Vault, Control-M Secrets).
Required Skills
- Mastery of Control-M scheduling (design, conditions, calendars, resources, alerting).
- Hands-on with Automation API and CTM/CLI for “jobs as code”.
- Scripting for automation and remediation.
- Understanding of batch application architectures and production constraints.
- Incident and problem management , RCA writing and corrective actions.
- Clear communication with RUN, DEV, and business teams.
Profile
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s in computer science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years’ experience with Control-M in production environments.
- BMC Control-M and/or ITIL certifications preferred.
- Fluent French/English required.
