Join our Direct Fastening R&D team and help bring innovative, reliable, and high-performing solutions to customers around the world.As an R&D Test Engineer – Product Validation & Development, you will play a critical role in transforming new product ideas into market-ready solutions. Combining practical testing with analytical problem-solving, you will work at the intersection of product development, validation, and innovation while continuously growing your technical and leadership capabilities.
What You'll do
You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products throughout the development process. Working closely with product development teams, you will design and execute test strategies, investigate technical challenges, and generate insights that influence product design and performance. You will communicate results to project teams and management, drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies and automation, and collaborate with internal and external partners. As part of your growth journey, you will also take on coordination responsibilities and further develop your leadership skills through coaching and supervision of external colleagues.What You’ll Bring
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
- Strong hands-on mindset and passion for practical engineering work
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems
- Experience in product testing or product development in an industrial or academic environment is an advantage
- International experience through work, internships, or study abroad is an advantage
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- Excellent English skills; German is an advantage
