Your tasksThe Jazz Institute is one of three institutes at the Basel Academy of Music FHNW. Students are trained in three courses of study at the bachelor's and master's levels 

• You will regularly teach voice as a major subject in our bachelor’s and master’s programs, as well as thematic ensemble lessons in Basel 
• You will supervise students at all stages of their studies and give both individual and group lessons 
• You will contribute your interdisciplinary skills and work with the lecturers at the institute on the further development of teaching

Your profile

• You are an internationally recognized and well-connected artistic personality with excellent didactic skills and experience in university teaching 
• Within jazz, you are familiar with its traditions and trends as well as with the latest developments 
• You have a style-forming profile within the subject area, you are able to inspire students for vocal craftsmanship as well as for artistic-innovative work and guide them competently 
• You have relevant degrees and pedagogical qualifications and understand the fourfold performance mandate of the universities of applied sciences (education, further education, research and services) as an exciting field of activity
