Job Description
- Manage the procurement process for coal, ensuring quality and cost-effective sourcing.
- Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future coal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful COAL MERCHANT should have:
- A strong background in procurement, particularly within the Coal sector.
- Proficiency in supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Ukrainian are an advantage.
- A solid understanding of market trends and supplier management.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, or a related area.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
