Job-Inhalt
The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of IT projects within the organization, including initiatives related to the company’s upcoming “Chromeleon” project. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong leadership, and exceptional problem-solving abilities to ensure successful project delivery. Please note, this position is limited to a 21 months contract.
Project Planning and Execution
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management, stakeholders, and business project managers
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for all IT related activities
Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
Team Leadership and Coordination
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives
Conduct regular status meetings and provide transparent updates on project progress
Risk and Issue Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution
Technical Expertise
Possess a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team
Quality Assurance
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications
Implement and oversee testing and validation processes
Budget and Resource Management
Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
Optimize resource utilization and ensure efficient allocation of project resources
Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts as needed
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs
Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders
Ensure proper documentation of project lessons learned and best practices
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a complex and dynamic environment
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)and familiarity with various development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
