What I do

• Ensuring production capability for existing and new products
• Launching of new products
• Analysis and solution of electrical and mechanical faults in production
• Technical support of sensors production and cable confectioning as well as cooperation in cross-divisional projects
• Maintenance and repair work on production equipment
• Updating and creating work plans & work instructions
• Manage the implementation of test specifications and parameters
• Programming and qualification of systems
• Collaboration in small projects to increase efficiency and troubleshooting
• Develop and implement measures to continuously increase productivity
• Definition and documentation of the process parameters
• Selection and definition of methods for process control
• Measurements and analyzes for time management
• Application of Baumer Operations System (MUDA, Lean – Six Sigma, topQ, etc)
• Close cooperation with IE at headquarters in Switzerland
• Embracing of potential and optimization regarding quality and efficiency

What I need for it

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Basic understanding of cables confectioning processes and sensors assembly
• Previous experience in the areas of IE / production technology would be an asset
• Quality focus and learning and development mindset
• Excellent command of spoken and written English language
• Solid computer skills

Additional knowledge that would be an asset:

• Knowledge of CIP, 5S, Lean – Six Sigma and SAP
