Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated, team-oriented IT professional at Basel EuroAirport to support our operations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with global IT teams to deliver reliable, user-focused IT support while contributing to innovative solutions.

Position and Responsibilities

  • End-User Support: Provide 1st and 2nd level support (email, calls, on-site) for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ticketing System: Utilize our group IT ticketing tool to track, manage, and resolve requests efficiently.
  • Monitoring: Use IT tools to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues to avoid impact on business operations.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure backups, security standards, and server room equipment are running smoothly.
  • Hardware/Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and telephone systems.
  • Automation & Deployment: Deploy Windows OS and software using distribution tools.
  • Documentation & Improvement: Write and update technical documentation improving knowledge management, propose process / procedure optimizations.
  • Collaboration: Work with global IT teams on projects, cybersecurity, and IT service design / technical integration projects.
  • On-Call Duty: Participate in emergency support rotations (1 week every 5 weeks).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluent English (mandatory); French, German, or Turkish is a plus.
  • Experience in IT service desk, customer support, or system administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in supporting Windows client and server OS, Office suites, ERP systems, and mobile device support.
  • Linux skills would be a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, user-focused mindset.
  • Mindset: Tech enthusiast who stays updated on IT trends and thrives in a collaborative environment.
