About the Project

We are seeking an experienced Contract Accountant for a temporary engagement with a finance organization in Switzerland. This project involves supporting the accounting operations with primary focus on accounts payable processes while providing additional support across various accounting functions during a critical operational period.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative accounting team environment, contributing to essential financial processes while gaining exposure to Swiss market accounting practices and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts payable invoices with purchase orders and ensure accurate processing
• Record vendor invoices into the accounting system and maintain data integrity
• Prepare weekly payment batches and reconcile vendor payments
• Manage accounting inbox communications and maintain vendor database
• Validate employee expenses and credit card transactions
• Support accounts receivable processes and monthly closing activities

Your Profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience in the Swiss market
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management or equivalent qualification
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in Winbiz and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory for effective communication
• Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain strict deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information
