Job-Inhalt
Tasks:
- Assume the leadership position for the planning functions of the Co-Processing Project ensuring timely delivery of the project.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (detail design/ all procurement companies / all construction subcontractor as well as all Turn around and commissioning teams) to ensure the timely receipt and realisation of the activities, mitigating risk to the purchasing schedule, construction schedule, optimizing lead time and realisation.
- Responsible for obtaining the Co-Processing project schedule information for planning activities and effectively communicating this with the appropriate project resources.
- Provide timely information to the Project Manager of any activity that impacts the project either realizing opportunity or indicating a potential risk.
- On selected high risk or critical path, challenge the stakeholder and Project personnel to ensure timely and realistic delivery of the project.
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with major equipment suppliers and major construction subcontracts to provide maximum utilization of their expertise, ideas, methods, market intelligence, best practices and material application in order to achieve the best schedule.
- Manage any planning related claims on behalf of the projects.
- Coordinate issuance of suppliers/subcontractor schedule feedback and ensures database is updated with all relevant information to share (e.g. feedback ratings, major delay reports).
- Communicate and reports the progress of the planning activities to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Establish key interfaces and builds relationships with stakeholders in support of alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Ensure that all planning activities are of the highest level of ethical and professional standards of conduct.
- Efficient monitor, report and present to the Project Manager, the Client and the function leadership on key project performance indicators, project schedule statistics and information against established project milestones.
- Serve as the Planning representative with the Client/Shareholders, requiring the preparation and delivery of key presentation material and information.
Qualifications:
- Min Qualification: Bachelors degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Min Experience: at least 15+ years’ experience of planning management, leading the procurement of materials and equipment within the Energy, oil& gas, renewable or related industries
- Software : MS Project and Primavera P6
- Must be proficient in French and English (both written and verbal)
- International contracting and negotiating procurement experience for major Projects (> 20m$)
- Must be willing to travel both locally and internationally
- Excellent computer skill
- Project control experience such as cost control will be a plus
