Mechanical CM (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Manage and oversee mechanical construction activities across the full project lifecycle
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Review and align mechanical designs with project specifications and data centre standards
• Oversee installation of critical systems (e.g. CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers, piping networks)
• Plan and manage site activities, including labour, materials, and subcontractor scheduling
• Lead and drive on-site teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and high-quality standards
• Identify risks and provide technical solutions and cost projections
• Monitor and report on construction progress, timelines, and budget
• Support and manage commissioning activities, including system testing and validation
• Ensure successful handover of systems to operations teams

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of the full design, construction, and commissioning lifecycle
• Experience working on:
  • Data centres, OR
  • Other complex / regulated environments (e.g. pharma, cleanrooms, industrial projects)
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to drive project delivery in a high-pressure environment
• Relevant technical qualification or trade background in mechanical engineering or similar
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
