Plant Engineer m/f/d

The Project Engineer will support the HVAC Dispensing Improvement project. The role involves technical design, project execution, contractor coordination, and documentation management within a GMP-regulated environment.

Tasks:

• Perform basic and detailed project design for HVAC and utilities systems
• Execute project activities according to scope, schedule, and quality requirements
• Provide engineering expertise and support to the BDC (Biotech Development Center)
• Manage contractors and external partners involved in project execution
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical and quality documentation
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with Merck EHS and Quality standards
• Define technical solutions for HVAC and Utilities systems
• Ensure adherence to EHS, quality, budget, and project planning requirements
• Coordinate suppliers and service providers
• Manage stakeholders across functions
• Prepare and apply Work Permits
• Ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables

Qualifications:

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
• Experience in industrial environments
• Familiarity with GMP-regulated pharmaceutical and/or biotech environments (GxP experience is a plus)
• Strong communication abilities
