We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer specializing in Directory Services to design, implement, and manage Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) across our global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the security, availability, and scalability of these critical identity and access management services while aligning them with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA. This role involves close collaboration with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business units to enforce access control policies and support seamless integration with cloud and on-premises applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implementation: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AD and Azure AD environments, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- Collaboration: Work with IAM teams to integrate directory services with identity lifecycle management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and other IAM areas.
- Automation & Integration: Develop automation tools to streamline directory management and ensure seamless integration between AD, Azure AD, and IAM tools.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security standards and ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulations.
- Optimization & Support: Continuously evaluate and optimize directory services performance, providing support for complex issues as an escalation point.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training to managed services and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Active Directory and Azure AD administration in large-scale, global environments.
- IAM Knowledge: Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and experience with regulatory compliance.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex directory services issues.
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing Active Directory from Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2022.
- Certification: AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Identity and Security.
