Job-Inhalt

The Packaging Test Lab Technician is responsible for the professional and timely execution of tests on packaging materials and filling goods, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. This role involves conducting a variety of tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting with inventory management, and supporting logistics and internal order processes. The technician will work closely with internal teams across manufacturing plants, transportation, and storage departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute various tests (quick test, standard, shelf life, special tests, specification tests, etc.) on packaging materials and filling goods to address specific requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations within the Packaging Test Lab.
  • Maintain cleanliness, disinfection, and upkeep of laboratory facilities and equipment.
  • Assist in the receipt, inspection, ordering, and stocking of raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform routine and non-routine operations safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure operational readiness of assigned instruments and document check and repair work.
  • Manage HSE-compliant storage, testing, and disposal of materials (e.g., active substances, formulations, intermediates, etc.).
  • Support supply logistics and internal order management processes, recommending improvements for optimization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams in manufacturing, transportation, and storage to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and packaging material evaluations.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in laboratory maintenance, equipment handling, and material inspection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creativity and adaptability to optimize internal processes.
