As the Maintenance Engineer for a production sector, your mission is to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable installations, while optimizing maintenance costs and maximizing resource efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Swiss legal requirements (e.g., OPAM) for all installations
• Define and lead the maintenance strategy aligned with production and site needs
• Manage and justify the maintenance budget, including renovation plans and investment requests
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability and performance of equipment
• Lead the maintenance and project teams within the sector
• Analyze technical issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support other sectors when needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in technical field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance/engineering in a process industry
• Strong knowledge of Swiss industrial regulations, especially OPAM
• Solid technical expertise across multiple domains (mechanical, electrical, automation, etc.)
• Experience with chemical processes, risk analysis, and budget management
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong customer focus, negotiation, and influence capabilities
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus
