Job-Inhalt
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and ongoing improvement of the Momentus Event Management SaaS Platform.
You will work closely with business analysts, system administrators, IT, vendors, and event teams to ensure that events are properly supported by Momentus and integrated effectively with the wider application landscape.
The role requires strong understanding of event management processes, ideally within the venues and exhibitions industry, as well as hands-on knowledge of Momentus configuration and system administration.
Your responsibilities
- Own the Momentus platform, ensuring stability, compliance, continuous improvement, and effective application lifecycle management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business units organizing fairs and events, translating business requirements into efficient system solutions.
- Design, configure, and maintain event lifecycles, workflows, and processes within Momentus.
- Manage application incidents and provide second-level support for Momentus-related issues.
- Assess new Momentus functionalities and identify their value for the business.
- Oversee Momentus integrations and interfaces, coordinating with IT and external vendors to ensure reliable data flows.
- Lead and contribute to IT and business change projects, including requirements engineering, stakeholder management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Design and deliver key user training on system configuration and process usage.
- Manage external providers, monitor SLAs, and contribute to the system roadmap and technology decisions.
- Ensure functional specifications, technical designs, data quality, security, authorization, compliance, and data privacy requirements are properly addressed
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, IT product teams, or similar IT project environments.
- Ideally 3+ years of hands-on Momentus configuration experience.
- Strong understanding of event management processes in the venues and exhibitions industry.
- Experience managing integrations in cloud-based system landscapes, including data architecture, security, authorization, compliance, and data privacy.
- Experience with stakeholder management, requirements engineering, project delivery, and change management.
- Momentus / Ungerboeck certification is a plus.
- PMI, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.Good understanding of event management IT architecture and interface management.
- Ability to write functional specifications, validate technical designs, and support data quality and compliance.
- Proficient in project management tools, MS Office, Microsoft Teams, and Atlassian Confluence.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports and HTML is a plus.
- German B2 and English B2.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe and the USA.
