Nanny for Sophia (3 months) in Elfenau - four days a week in June, with view to carry on after

We are a family of four in Elfenau, Bern - Svetlana, Tiago, Alex (6 years) and Sophia, born in January 2026. Svetlana is Latvian and an academic; Tiago is Portuguese and a management consultant. We both work mostly from home. Alex is British - was born in the UK :)) and goes to school a local school, and is happily independent in the afternoons. At home we mostly speak English. We are close to bus 19 and trams 7 and 8 at Thunplatz. Sophia is a calm, social baby. She feeds well, sleeps when she needs to, and is easy company. The role is about being with her - feeding, naps, play, walks, putting her down. No tidying, no cleaning, no cooking, no laundry. Warming a bottle or some food is the most that would be asked. Alex may be around in the afternoons but looks after himself. We are thinking of this in two phases. In June, Monday to Thursday, full days - a proper launch pad to settle in with us. From August, once Sophia starts nursery part-time, we would like to continue two or three days a week to complement the nursery, and potentially more if it works well for everyone. We are open to flexing around your own needs where we can. English is a must. Other languages are welcome, but not required. We are not looking for a specific age or background. What matters is that you are reliable, have energy, and genuinely enjoy being with children. References are welcome but not essential.
