  • Troubleshoot and resolve Zscaler-related issues by analysing logs, performing traces and applying appropriate corrective actions.
  • Analyse network packet traces (PCAP), Fiddler logs and HTTP/HTTPS headers to identify and resolve complex connectivity and performance issues.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to network and proxy performance, capacity, scalability and security posture.

3. Network Engineering & Operations

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support for network and related services.
  • Configure, install and maintain network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
  • Support and maintain network connectivity for financial market data feeds and other latency-sensitive services.
  • Implement and maintain a continuous improvement process by defining, documenting and enforcing network and proxy standards, procedures and best practices.
  • Interface with external suppliers and partners (integrators, telecom providers, market data vendors, etc.) to design, implement and support network solutions.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call / on-duty rotation (piquet) to support critical infrastructure.
  • Monitor network and proxy performance, ensuring system availability, reliability and security.
  • Monitor system resource utilisation, trends and capacity, and plan upgrades or optimisations accordingly.
